Rohit Sharma’s match-winning 123* was calm, composed and calculated, enabling India to comfortably reach the final of the 2017 ICC Champions Trophy.
Sharma’s innings might’ve been powered by something that a casual viewer may not expect. Sharma shared a video of teammate Shikhar Dhawan’s five-year-old son, Zoraver, ‘training’ him to race.
After the video was shared, Zoraver’s father Shikhar Dhawan cheekily asked what his son is being paid, in light of Sharma’s match winning performance against Bangladesh
Sharma joined in on the banter, informing Dhawan that his son is unlikely to charge a father figure for his training sessions.
Earlier in the tournament, Dhawan posted a photograph of Sharma and Zoraver with the caption “Rohit bribing Zoraver to be with him”.
After Sharma’s noteworthy performance against Bangladesh, we surely hope the little trainer keeps spinning his magic.
