Priyanka Chopra replied to his post in the cutest way and commented: “Everything about you is special, with or without diabetes.”
In the post, Jonas also thanks his family and loved ones who have helped him throughout. He writes:
I have full control of my day to day life with this disease, and I’m so grateful to my family and loved ones who have helped me every step of the way. Never let anything hold you back from living your best life. Thank you to all my fans for your kind words and support.
Type 1 diabetes mellitus (T1DM) is a chronic; T-cell mediated autoimmune disease. According to an article published in Indian Journal of Endocrinology and Metabolism, T1DM is primarily caused by genetic factors, environmental factors, and disorder of the immune regulatory mechanism.
A combination of all these three factors causes autoimmune disease, which may ultimately result in the destruction of pancreatic beta cells leading to hyperglycemia and ketoacidosis.
