The Marathi film, Sairat won over both the critics and the box-office and now we hear that Karan Johar has bought the rights of the film as he wants to remake the film. The original producers would reportedly be co-producing the film with Karan.
According to reports, Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s daughter, Jhanvi has bagged the film but several other names too have been going around for the cast. The names that have been doing the rounds include Saif Ali Khan & Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Khan, Shahid Kapoor’s half brother Ishaan Khattar and even Amitabh Bachchan’s granddaughter Navya Naveli.
Seems like KJo is eager to start this pet project with a list of star kids once again like he did with Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan in Student of The Year.
