The new Netflix action thriller Triple Frontier drops on 13th March. Starring Ben Affleck, Oscar Isaac, Charlie Hunnam, Garrett Hedlund and Pedro Pascal, Triple Frontier has all the makings of an edgy, action-packed heist flick. This Netflix original promises to have everything that you would expect from a big Hollywood action spectacle.

The Stars: The film packs together some of the hottest men out there, so you’ve got our attention already. Ben Affleck, Charlie Hunnam, Pedro Pascal, Garrett Hedlund and Oscar Isaac play military vets who come together to capture a powerful Colombian drug lord close to the Triple Frontier, the border zone between Paraguay, Argentina and Brazil. The men aren’t just after the drug lord, it’s the 75 million dollars in cash that he has stashed in his house that’s the main attraction here.

The Heist: The biggest heist ever, straight from the home of one of South America’s most dreaded drug kingpins is the main plot point in Triple Frontier, or so we think. The film is actually much more. How do the men actually transport all that money through the jungle, over the mountains and across the sea. Will they make it through their mission with their lives and the heist money intact? Heists never go according to plan, do they?

The Thrills: Look out for the big action set pieces set in the jungles and mountains of Mexico. The thrill isn’t so much in the heist itself as much as it is on the aftermath of the big robbery. Look out for some edge of the seat moments as the men try to make their way through the narrow pathways on the Andes mountains with stacks of money packed on mules.

Enough reason for you to join the mission?
