Duniya haseeno ka mela, aur Bigg Boss ka ghar unke swaagat mein rangeen ho baitha hai. Lekin kya ghar wale ek dost dhoondh rahe hain, dosti ke liye? Kise dost milega? Kise dushman? Today the inmates are charged with a new task, that of manning stalls at the BB Mela. The BB Mela is full of interactive games and pani puri! Bigg Boss ji, please ek task rakhe jisme contestant ko sirf pani puri khana pade, bahut maza aayega!
But there is a twist to this task. The mela isn’t just for the inmates to enjoy. They will have to cater to different haseenas that will enter the house to visit the mela. Simple enough. Each of the housemates are given a stall to man. Manveer has the ‘Lucky Dip and Pani Puri’. Bani mans the stall ‘Bhadas Baba’. ‘ Manu is on the ‘Hit the Joker’ stall where the guests can pick an inmate and hit them with a watery sponge. Lopa has to work on the massage counter, and Rohan is on ‘Horse Ride’ where he has to dress up like a horse and entertain the guests (mental note: From Gora to Ghoda - Biography of Rohan Mehra will sell like hot cakes on a winter evening).
Mehmano ka swagat hai! The first mehmaan in this mela is none other than Bigg Boss 9 contestant, Mandana Karimi. A vision in white, the guest goes to all the stalls and it is a delight to see her in the house. It is nice to see these people laugh a little. Honestly, there is much sorrow in the world, and the Bigg Boss house even gloomier in this regard, so to look at these sad faces light up was a genuine moment of relief.
Lord knows that these inmates are going to require therapy once they get back to regular life, so, why not let them enjoy a bit?
Oh, but this laughter is short lived. After all, it is the Bigg Boss house, and it is only built on bitch-fights and snarky comments and verbal attacks on each other. On the ‘Bhadas Baba’ stall (Bani’s stall) Mandana does not spare Lopa. Now, she does come off as a bit harsh, but in all honestly, someone needs to give Lopa Mudra Riot a reality check. And Mandana does just that.
Of course, Ms Riot (ghar ki nyay devi) doesn’t take that too well. But that’s what you get for being such a villain Lopa. She has taken every opportunity to take violently verbal digs at Bani, even when Bani hasn’t provoked her. Lopa has also, through her own foolishness, ruined tasks that have directly led to the prize money being deducted. This reality check was a needed one. Eventually, like every other human, Lopa does break down and we feel a bit for her.
And then, it is time for the mid-week eviction, and it is between Bani and Rohan. Will Lopa behave in the coming days of the show? Or will she go back to her antics? Only time will tell. Until then, duniya haseeno ka mela . . .
