Bhima Koregaon Violence

An event to mark the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Koregaon near Pune was marred by violence on 1 January. Two died in the clashes between Dalits and right-wing groups. On Tuesday, the unrest spilled over to Mumbai and other areas.
