A post was doing the rounds on social media platforms, claiming that the United States of America (USA) used Indian airspace to conduct its recent strikes against Iran.
However, we found no evidence to support the claim that the United States had indeed used Indian airspace to conduct strikes against Iran.
Additionally, Press Information Bureau's (PIB) fact-checking wing clarified that the viral claim was "fake".

However, the claim was misleading. While Mamdani won the NYC mayoral election primary, he has not won the mayoral general elections, which are scheduled for November 2025.

Team WebQoof found that the image had been generated using AI and is not a real visual as claimed.

After the recent tensions that broke out between Israel and Iran, an image went viral on the internet to claim that it showed recent visuals of police headquarters in Iran's Tehran burning.
However, the truth is that the image could be traced back to at least May 2020 and reportedly showed the dome of the Malek Ashtar Mosque in Tehran burning.

Social media users shared an image of a broken down bus in water linking it to the bus accident in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag on 26 June 2025, which resulted in the death of two pilgrims and ten others were reported missing.
Multiple discrepancies and AI detection tools showed that the image was actually generated using AI tools.
