1. Does This Clip Show Samay Raina Apologising Mockingly After Controversy? No!

As the controversy around YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia and standup comic Samay Raina continues, a video went viral on the internet to claim that it showed the latter recently apologising to people mockingly.

The clip was shared with a caption that said, "Samay Raina issues apology video after India’s Got Latent controversy."

But the truth is that the video was old and could be traced back to at least November 2023. You can read our fact here for more details.

2. Did Macron Snub Modi During Paris AI Summit? Here’s What Happened

After PM Modi visited Paris for the recent Artificial Intelligence (AI) summit, a video was being circulated claiming that French President Emmanuel Macron had ignored PM Modi during the event.

The clip showed President Macron first shaking hands with US Vice President JD Vance, then conversing with United Nations' Secretary-General António Guterres and European Union President Ursula von der Leyen. PM Modi remained seated during the entire duration of this clip.

However, Team WebQoof found that not only PM Modi and the French President arrived together for the event but also came across several visuals of their interactions during the visit.

3. Old Graphic Talking About Arvind Kejriwal’s Health Viral With Misleading Context

A graphic purportedly shared by News24 went viral on social media platforms claiming that Aam Aadmi Party's (AAP) Sanjay Singh recently said that former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal might slip into a coma.

The claim was shared after AAP lost the recently concluded 2025 Delhi assembly elections.

We found that the graphic was originally published in July 2024, when Singh mentioned about Kejriwal's deteriorating health following his arrest.

4. No, Indian Railways Has Not Reinstated Concessions for Senior Citizens

A post was doing the rounds on social media platforms claiming that the Indian Railways introduced a new policy that will provide those aged 58 years and above up to 50 percent concession on their train tickets.

The post further carried several points from the supposed policy talking about the different concession rates for different seat classes for senior citizens.

But the viral claim was false. The Indian Railways had suspended the concession rates for senior citizens in 2020, which has still not been reinstated.

5. Deepfake Videos of Monalisa Bhonsale Dancing, Meeting Paps Go Viral as Real

Social media users shared a video of a woman dancing in a red dress, while another video showed the same woman posing for paparazzi, identifying her as Monalisa Bhonsale, the 16-year-old girl from Maha Kumbh Mela.

But both the clips were deepfakes and were made using the help of AI tools. Watch our video below to find out more.
