Anupam Kher has taken to social media to share that he will be playing the role of the poet, philosopher, and essayist, Rabindranath Tagore in his 538th film. Kher also shared his first look from the film.
Sharing the post Kher captioned it, "Delighted to portray #Gurudev #RabindranathTagore in my 538th project. Will reveal the details in due course. Ye mere saubhagya hai ki mujhe gurudev ko parde par saakaar karne ka saubhagya parpt hua hai. Jald hi is film ki adhik jankaari apke sath sanjha karunga (It is my good fortune that I have the privilege of embodying Gurudev on screen! I will soon share more information about this film with you)."
In the black-and-white photo, Kher can be seen wearing an outfit similar to what Tagore used to wear.
