Twitter handles created to closely resemble popular film critics are tweeting out their reactions to the film and many people online seem to be taking them seriously without spotting the fact that these are not authentic, verified Twitter handles.

The Tamil Nadu Film Producers’ Council (TFPC) offices in Yogambal street in T Nagar and Anna Salai in Chennai witnessed high drama on Wednesday as a group of 300 film producers locked the offices demanding TFPC President Vishal’s resignation.
The group of producers alleged that Vishal was involved in a lot of criminal activities being a part of the council and demanded he hand over the accounts of the council and resign.

Singer Sonu Nigam has responded to Sona Mohapatra's tweets against him, saying that though she is "vomiting" on Twitter, he would like to maintain decorum.
In a statement on Thursday, the singer said, "The respectable lady vomiting on Twitter, is the wife of someone who I consider very close to me, so although she's has forgotten the relationship, I'd like to maintain the decorum."

While shooting for an episode of the show "Dance+4", the celebrity guest spoke about dancing and more, read a statement.
"As an artiste, one should be observant and try to convey the emotions to the audience without being overboard and all over the place. Your intention as a dancer should be clear and reach out to the audience like you have thought," said the "Hero No.1" star.

Filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's Mere Pyare Prime Minister, which was originally set to release on Gandhi Jayanti in 2 October 2018 and was then pushed to 14 December, will now hit the screens on 8 March, 2019.
Mehra shared the update on Twitter, along with a poster of the film. The film has its focus on the issue of open defecation and sanitation problems in the country, told through the story of a slum boy who wants to build a toilet for his mother.
While Mehra was earlier excited about the 2 October date as it was Gandhi Jayanti, observed in memory of Mahatma Gandhi who has inspired the movie, even March 8 has its own significance given that it is International Women's Day. Shot in the Mumbai slums, the film brings to light sanitation issues through four children, real extras from slums and National Award-winning actress Anjali Patil.

Ahead of the release of Rohit Shetty’s Simmba, the makers have put out a third song from the film. Titled ‘Aala Re Aala’, the upbeat number sees Ranveer Singh arrive flamboyantly atop a car surrounded by a posse of women riding bikes dressed in colourful Maharashtrian-style saris and sunglasses. Over the course of the song Ranveer pulls off some unique moves, proving he’s very much a Rohit Shetty hero.

In order to strengthen and deepen cultural understanding between the two countries, the film festival is being organised during the first India-China High Level Mechanism on Cultural and People-to-People Exchanges.
The three-day festival, organised by the Directorate of Film Festivals, Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, will start from 22 December at Siri Fort Auditorium, read an official release.
A total of seven films including four Chinese and three Indian films -- Aamir Khan's Dangal, which got great response in China, Bengali film Maacher Jhol and Priyanka Chopra's maiden Marathi production Ventilator -- will be screened during the festival.
Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas are hosting their third reception in Mumbai at Taj Lands End. The venue is all decked up. The who’s who of B-Town is set to grace the occasion.
SRK-Anushka-Katrina-starrer Zero would be opening on 4,380 screens in India and 1,585 screens overseas, bringing it to a total of 5,965 screens.
