1. Did Xi Jinping Ignore PM Modi at SCO Summit? No, Video Is Old and Clipped!

A video showing PM Modi being ignored while extending his hand to greet President Jinping is going viral on social media as one from the recent SCO summit in Tianjin, China.

No, the claim is false as this video is not from the SCO in Tianjin.

The video is from the BRICS 2024 conference in Russia and is clipped to make the false claim. In the longer version, the two can be seen shaking hands.

2. Fake Quote on India-China Relations Attributed to Trump Viral as Real

A post carrying a quote has been attributed to the President Trump, about the growing 'closeness' between India and China, has gone viral on social media platforms.

However, the claim is false. This is a satirical post attributed to Trump following the massive tariffs on India and the latter's growing relations with China.

3. Video Shows Pakistan Army’s Brigadier in Line for Food? No, Claim Is False!

A video is being widely shared on social media claims to show a man wearing a Pakistan Army uniform standing in a long line.

Those sharing the clip claimed that a brigadier of the Pakistan Army was in line for food amid shortage in the country.

However, the claim is false. The individual in the video is NOT a brigadier from Pakistan but an Indian actor named Sachin Sharma.

The viral video was recorded on the location of a film shoot.

4. Photo of BJP Worker From MP Shared to Falsely Claim He Abused PM Modi in Bihar

A photo featuring two people is being shared across social media, with users claiming that one of them is Mohammad Rizvi, the person accused of verbally attacking PM Modi in Bihar.

The image is being circulated with claims that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) allegedly placed someone to insult PM Modi from a Congress platform during its Voter Adhikar Yatra in the state.

However, the claim is false. The man in the viral image is a BJP worker from Madhya Pradesh named Nek Mohammad Rizvi.

He is unrelated to the recent abusive remarks made against PM Modi during the Congress' yatra in Bihar.

A viral post on social media has claimed that the Central government has recently declared 3, 4, 5, and 6 September as public holidays.

As of 5 September, there is no evidence to support the claim that the government has announced holidays on the aforementioned dates.
