1. Did Rahul Gandhi Say Children’s Names Were Being Deleted From Bihar Voter List?

A statement went viral on the internet claiming that Congress leader Rahul Gandhi alleged that children in Bihar complained to him about their names being removed from the state's voter list.

The claim was shared by an X (formerly Twitter) premium handle named '@BefittingFacts'.

But we found that two different statements of Gandhi were stitched together to make the false claim.

  • In the original clip, Gandhi talked about six-year-old children have come to him and said 'Vote Chor, Gaddi Chodh' [Vote thief, leave your seat] during the Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.

2. Lalu Yadav’s Old Clip Criticising Congress Viral as Recent Ahead of Bihar Polls

A video of Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav criticising the Congress party was being shared on the internet as a recent incident, ahead of the assembly elections in Bihar.

The claim is misleading. The video actually dates back to 2021, when Yadav had criticised the alliance with the Congress ahead of the by-elections on two seats.

3. AI-Generated Video Falsely Shared as One of World’s 'Largest Ganesh Idol'

Amid Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, a video of several people building and making a massive of Lord Ganesh went viral on the internet with a claim that it shows recent visuals from Tamil Nadu's Chennai.

We found that the video was created using Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools and does not show a real idol.

4. Jagannath Puri Yatra Clip Viral as Rahul Gandhi’s Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar

An aerial video showing a massive crowd gathered on the streets went viral on social media platforms with users linking it to the Congress party's ongoing Voter Adhikar Yatra in Bihar.

Team WebQoof found that the video showed visuals from the annual Jagannath Puri Yatra in June 2025.

5. AI-Generated Clip of CDS Anil Chauhan Praising Pakistan During Op Sindooor Viral

A video was being circulation on social media platforms claiming that  India’s Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) General Anil Chauhan referred to Pakistan’s Army as superior and more advanced during Operation Sindoor.

We found that the claim was false and the viral clip was created using AI tools.
