What we found: At first, we ran a Google reverse image search on the image and found a post on X from February which showed a logo of "Grok" at the bottom right corner, hinting that the image could be AI.
We then ran the image on AI-detection websites Hive Moderation and Sight Engine. The results showed that the image contained 99 percent AI-generated content.

Abnormalities in the image: We zoomed into the image and found that the hands of the Maxwell and Hank seemed blurry and strange.
Similarly, the background of the image looked blurry which is a key aspect of AI-generated images.
Conclusion: The viral image is generated using AI and is not real.
