A Special Investigation Team (SIT) has summoned Shiromani Akali Dal President Sukhbir Singh Badal for questioning on 30 August in the Kotkapura firing case.
The SIT is led by ADGP LK Yadav and has earlier questioned former state DGP Sumedh Singh Saini.
Badal has been asked to appear before the SIT at Punjab Police Officers Institute, Sector 32, Chandigarh, at 10:30 am, as per the summons notice dated 18 August.
The SIT questioned Badal last year in relation to the incident as well.
