An FIR was filed against Rashriya Janata Dal supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav by the BJP MLA to who Lalu had allegedly called from judicial custody and offered a ministerial berth in return for helping the opposition defeat NDAs candidate for assembly speakers post.

Further, the Jharkhard government on Wednesday, 25 November ordered a probe into the reports of RJD supremo Lalu Yadav allegedly telephoning an NDA MLA in Bihar, asking him to abstain from voting during election to Speaker of the Assembly, reported NDTV.
Meanwhile, BJP MLA from Pirpainti, Lallan Kumar Paswan has handed over to Patna's Nigrani Police station SHO the transcript of alleged audio clip of jailed RJD Chief Lalu Prasad, asking him (Lallan Paswan) not to vote in the election for State assembly Speaker's post, reported ANI.
Vijendra Bhusha, Inspector Genral (IG) Prisons reportedly told PTI that he had asked Ranchi Deputy Commissioner, Superintendent of Police and Superintendent of Birsa Munda jail to probe the matter and initiate lawful action If the allegations are proven true.
Further according to NDTV, the IG said that he had heard the contentious audio clip himself and then asked for the probe. He also said that as mobile phone use is not allowed in judicial custody, if the allegations are found true, it will be further probed where Lalu got the phone from.
Further, he informed that political talks are also prohibited in judicious custody.
Lalu Shifted to RIMS Paying Ward
Meanwhile, Lalu Prasad Yadav has been shifted back to a paying ward of Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) from Kelly bungalow (RIMS Director’s bungalow), reported ANI.
Prasad had earlier been shifted to the director’s residence in August to prevent exposure to coronavirus.

Lalu is presently lodged in RIM’s Director’s bungalow with permission of the district administration, reported NDTV, citing the jail IG.
