The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the online application window for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG 2022).
The entrance test will be conducted at centres in 554 cities across India and in 13 cities abroad, University Grants Commission Chairperson M Jagadesh Kumar said on Wednesday, 22 June.
The exam was made compulsory for admission to undergraduate courses in central universities earlier this year.
What is the CUET schedule?
The CUET (UG) will be conducted on 15, 16, 19, 20, July and 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 and 10 August at different centres located in 554 cities across India.
It will also be conducted in 13 cities outside the country.
When is the last date for application?
Eligible candidates can apply for the examination at cuet.samarth.ac.in till 11:50 pm on 24 June.
How many students have applied till now?
The UGC chairperson added that over 9.5 lakh candidates have registered for admission to 86 universities, of which 43 are central universities, 13 are state universities, and 12 are deemed-to-be-universities.
What is the application fee?
The application fee is as follows for the below mentioned categories:
General/Unreserved category is Rs 650
General-EWS/OBCNCL is Rs 600
SC/ST/PwBD/Third Gender is Rs 550
The fee for centres outside India is Rs 3000
How to register for CUET?
Here are the steps the candidates should follow to register for the CUET UG 2022 online:
Visit the official website of the Common University Entrance Test – cuet.samarth.ac.in
Click on the link that states CUET UG 2022 Application Form on the homepage
Log in using the required details and fill out the application form correctly
Upload scanned copies of the documents that are mentioned on the form as per the specifications
Pay the application fee and click on submit
Download the CUET UG 2022 Application Form from the website and take a printout of the same.
I have already registered. When will I get the admit card?
