A horrific video showing two Kuki-Zomi women being assaulted and led towards a paddy field in Manipur went viral on social media on Wednesday, 19 July and the whole country erupted in outrage. In that context, The Quint shares actor Vrajesh Hirjee reciting the powerful poem, 'Suno Draupadi Tum Shastra Utha Lo, Ab Govind Na Aayenge' by Pushyamitra Upadhyay. Hirjee shared the video of him reciting the poem in 2020 on Gandhi Jayanti in view of the Hathras case, in which, the alleged rape and murder of a 19-year-old Dalit woman in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras had shocked India.
