How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on some of the images which led us to a Facebook post shared on 12 April 2025.
This was shared by Somoynews.tv, a Bangladeshi news channel, and the caption stated that it showed a rally where thousands of people gathered at Suhrawardy Park to show support to Palestine.
These images exactly matched with the viral ones.
Taking a cue, we performed a relevant keyword search on Google which led us to several news reports about this rally.
The Business Standard and Dhaka Tribune shared reports about this on 12 April 2025 and stated that to show solidarity with Palestinians, a massive crowd marched from Gulistan’s Zero Point towards Suhrawardy Park to take part in the "March for Gaza" program.
Both the reports carried similar images to the one from the viral ones, which showed people standing with Palestinian flags on the Raju Memorial.
This image was taken at the Raj memorial in Dhaka, Bangladesh.

We also found a video report shared by Associated Press (AP) on 12 April 2025 and the description stated that around 100,000 people gathered at Suhrawardy Park in the Dhaka University area to condemn Israel's actions in the Gaza Strip.
Moreover, we also found the same location of Raju memorial at Dhaka, Bangladesh on Google maps which shows people standing on the statue holding Palestinian flags.
Conclusion: Visuals of pro-Palestine rally from Dhaka, Bangladesh is being falsely shared as from Kolkata.
