Massive Fire at Slum in Noida’s Barola, No Casualty Reported

A massive fire broke out at a slum in Barola village of Noida Sector 49 on 4 May, Tuesday, evening, reported ANI.

Police and fire officials reached the spot to douse the blaze. No casualty had been reported till then, they said.

In a tweet, the police commissionerate of Gautam Buddh Nagar said: "Twelve fire tenders and fire fighters have controlled the fire under the supervision of senior officers."

The flames of the fire reached several feet high and could be seen from various parts of Noida.

“The cause of the fire is not known yet,” an official said.

Earlier on 11 April, a massive fire had broken out at a Noida slum. Two children were killed in the blaze.
