22 children dead after boat sinks in Nile in Sudan, reports AFP.
Kabul Police Chief Spokespeman has said that they recieved reports of an explosion in Dasht-e-Barchi in west of Kabul city but they are investigating it, reported ANI. The type of explosion is not yet clear. Casualties are reportedly feared, however.
Four children were injured after a bomb exploded at a house in Rahui. They are currently undergoing treatment in a hospital. Three more live bombs were recovered from the house.

The decision to suspend the operations was taken after shutters of the Idamalayar and Cheruthoni dams, part of Idukki reservoir, were opened last evening to release excess water.
The airport is situated near the Periyar river bank.
