Terrorist Attack on Army Post in Kashmir
Terrorists attacked an army post in Bandipora’s Hajin in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday, 5 June. Nearly four to six terrorists came from two sides of the camp of 13 Rashtriya Rifles and Hajin police station and fired around eight Underbarrel Grenade Launcher (UBGL) towards the army and the police.

Bail Plea of Accused Minor in Gurugram Boy's Alleged Murder Case Dismissed
The Punjab and Haryana High Court on Wednesday, 6 June, dismissed the bail plea of the accused minor in the alleged murder of 7-year-old boy in a Gurugram school.
The accused, a Class XI student, was arrested by the Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) earlier in 2017. The Juvenile Justice Board had earlier on 20 December ruled that the 16-year-old accused will be tried as an adult.

Patanjali to Review Decision Over Food Park Project After Assurances From UP CM
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed officials to expedite the process for Baba Ramdev's Patanjali Ayurved to set up its Rs 6,000-crore food park, following which the company said it is reviewing its decision to pull out of the project.
On 5 June, Patanjali had stated that it was pulling out of the mega food processing project along the Yamuna Expressway, citing non-cooperation from the state government and delay in clearances for transfer of land.
"We are reviewing our decision in the light of assurances given by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. We do trust the assurances given by him," said Patanjali Spokesperson S K Tijarawala.
