One Dead in Clashes between TPC & CPI(M)

Rustam alias Basant Bhokta, Sub Zonal Commander of Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), a Naxal organisation, was shot dead by Naxals of banned CPI (Maoist) in a war of supremacy in extremists-dominated Roshanganj area on Saturday night, 4 May.

Three Persons Killed in Separate Incidents in Nagpur

Three persons were killed in separate incidents in Lakadganj, Kalamna and Tehsil police station limits in Nagpur city on Sunday, the officials reported.

In the first incident, Shubham Wasnik (22) was stabbed to death by his friend (minor) as the deceased had not offered the accused food when the latter visited him at home, said a Lakadganj police station official, adding that the minor had been sent to a correction home.

Chandan Sharma (22) was stabbed by an unidentified person in his house in the jurisdiction of Kalamna police station in the early hours of Sunday, a local official said.

Ankit Dhakate (21), a resident of Pachpaoli area was killed by five persons over an old rivalry on Sunday night, an official said.

'522 Killed by Naxals After Being Termed Informers': Gadchiroli Cops

Naxals have killed 522 people in Maharashtra's Gadchiroli district after falsely accusing them of being informers, the police reported.

In a statement, Gadchiroli police said a man was found dead on Monday morning in Jambhiya Gatta in the district's Ettapali tehsil. He was identified as Shishir Mandal (42), and was not a police informer.
