Bollywood's dancing diva Madhuri Dixit Nene took Bollywood fans on a nostalgic trip as she pays tribute to her contemporary of the 1980s, the late Sridevi, at the third edition of Lux Golden Rose Awards. Madhuri Dixit-Nene paid a touching tribute to late actor Sridevi by performing to her song Hawa Hawai on Sunday.

2. Shah Rukh Declares Himself Unofficial Ambassador of Air India

Bollywood Actor Shah Rukh Khan. 

Impressed by Air India's services, cine star Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday said "unofficially and unabashedly" he wants to declare himself as the ambassador of the national carrier. Responding to the star's appreciation, Air India said it is humbled when 'King Khan' is the brand ambassador for 'Maharaja'.

Debt-laden Air India is working on ways to turn around its fortunes and there have been instances of the airline facing flak from customers for poor services.
Against this backdrop, the airline also said the star's words of appreciation are encouraging.

Actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was last seen in Veere Di Wedding, says that her step-daughter Sara Ali Khan is a born star.

Kareena was interacting with media at Lux Golden Rose Awards 2018 on Sunday.

Kareena shares a warm bond with her step-daughter Sara Ali Khan who will soon mark her Hindi film debut with Kedarnath and at the trailer launch of the film, the debutante said that she wants to imbibe professionalism of Kareena.

4. Win for Sushmita: Rs 95 Lakh Harassment Compensation Not Taxable

There’s good news for Sushmita Sen on her birthday. The city bench of the income-tax appellate tribunal (ITAT), which handles income-tax disputes, has ruled in favour of the actor over a settlement compensation case. The compensation against a sexual harassment complaint made by her has been held as non-taxable.

Much before the #MeToo movement gained momentum in India, Sen recieved a compensation of Rs 95 lakh from Coca-Cola India in 2003-2004 after she complained against sexual harassment by one of their employees.

5. Man Threatens Salman Khan’s Aide for Actor’s Number; Arrested

Actor Salman Khan.

A man who had allegedly threatened an employee of Salman Khan, has been arrested in Allahabad. Identified as Shera, he called the actor’s aide when he was in Mumbai and asked for Salman’s number. The employee refused and a heated argument followed.

According to Times of India, three days later, the employee lodged a criminal complaint at the Bandra police station in Mumbai saying Shera had threatened him with dire consequences if he didn’t share Salman’s number.
