The Twitter account of Amitabh Bachchan was on Monday, 10 June by what seems like a pro Pakistan group of hackers by the name of ‘Ayyildiz Tim Turkish Cyber Army.’

While the display picture of the actor was changed to that of Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan, the bio read, “Actor ... well at least some are STILL saying so !! Love Pakistan.”

Soon, pro Muslim posts were being shared from the actor’s account. The cover photo of Bachchan's account, which was subsequently deleted, showed the promo picture of the group with an eagle in flight.

The pinned tweet read, “This is an important call to the whole world! We do condemn the irrespective behaviors of Iceland republic towards Turkish footballers. We speak softly but carry a big stick and inform you about the big Cyber attack here. As Ayyıldız Tim Turkish Cyber Armny +++”

Twitter had a blast after the account was hacked. One user wrote, “ Hacker uncle u forgot to add T 6969.”
