While several Bollywood celebs have been spotted around town attending various Diwali parties, celebrations were a family affair for Sara Ali Khan. The actor brought in the festival of lights with her father Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and siblings Ibrahim and Taimur. She took to Instagram to wish her fans and posted a few photos with the family. Saif was dressed in a black kurta-pyjama, while Ibrahim and Taimur kept it casual. Sara wore a sky blue sharara and Kareena donned a shiny salwar kameez for the occasion.

Last year, Saif, Kareena Sara, Ibrahim and Taimur were seen attending Laxmi puja at Karishma Kapoor’s office. The families posed together for photos, including Kareena and Karishma’s kids Taimur, Kiaan and Samaira. Kareena was spotted with Taimur at Karishma’s office this year too. The actor was dressed in a pastel salwar suit with Taimur in a white shirt with a monkey print.

Sara Ali Khan is set to star opposite Varun Dhawan in the remake of David Dhawan’s 1995 hit Coolie No 1. She will reportedly play the role that Karisma Kapoor did in the film, which also starred Govinda and Kader Khan. She is also shooting for Imtiaz Ali’s sequel to 2009’s Love Aaj Kal, with Karthik Aaryan. Saif was last seen in season 2 of Netflix web series Sacred Games and Navdeep Singh’s period drama Laal Kaptaan, which released on 18 October. Kareena will be seen opposite Akshay Kumar in Good Newwz. The film also features Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani and releases on 27 December. She will also be seen playing a police officer in Angrezi Medium, a sequel to Irrfan Khan’s 2017 comedy Hindi Medium.
