Quentin Tarantino's Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is all set to release in India on 9 August. Taran Adarsh tweeted the release date along with a poster of the film. The film features Leonardo DiCaprio and Brad Pitt.

‘Article 15’ Song: ‘Shuru Karein Kya’ Is an Angry Call to Action

The makers of upcoming Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Article 15 just dropped a rap track from the film. Titled ‘Shuru Karein Kya’, the song features indie rappers SlowCheeta (Chaitanya Sharma), Dee MC (Deepa Unnikrishnan), Kaam Bhaari (Kunal Pandagle), and Spitfire (Nitin Sharma). Filled with the right kind of rage and energy, the song is a call to action that urges people to work towards the kind of change they want to see.

NFAI to Pay Homage to Girish Karnad With Special Film Screening

The National Film Archive of India (NFAI) is paying a week-long tribute to late artiste Girish Karnad with the screening of his acclaimed films, including Ondanondu Kaladalli. "We believe his exceptional work will continue to inspire coming generations," read a statement from NFAI.

Ondanondu Kaladalli was screened on 11 June and will be followed by Kanooru Heggadithi, Kaadu, and Umbartha.

The noted playwright, writer, actor and activist passed away at his home in Bengaluru on 10 June at the age of 81.

Adnan Sami's Twitter Account Hacked

Singer Adnan Sami’s Twitter account has reportedly been hacked by Ayyildiz Tim, the same group that had targeted Amitabh Bachchan’s account on 10 June. In a method similar to the attack carried out on Big B’s Twitter account, the hackers changed Sami’s profile picture to one of Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan and his bio to “Ayyıldız Tim Love Pakistan”. They also posted pro-Pakistan and pro-Turkey tweets from his account.

Kangana's 'Mental Hai Kya' Trailer Releases on This Date

The trailer for Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao starrer Mental Hai Kya will reportedly be dropped on 19 June. The film has been written by Kanika Dhillon, helmed by National award-winning director Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures.

Anoushka Shankar Call off Shows for Health Reasons

Acclaimed musician Anoushka Shankar has cancelled several upcoming shows due to her health. She hasn't shared details about her illness but said she is preparing for a major surgery.

"Dear friends, I'm so sorry to cancel several shows for health reasons. It's not a decision that was taken lightly and I've been somewhat heartbroken about it," Anoushka tweeted on Monday. "At present I'm spending time with family, and gearing up for major surgery. I hope I have your understanding," she added.

The London-based sitarist, also the daughter of the late Ravi Shankar, was set to perform in various countries including Germany, the US and France.

John and Emraan to Share Screen Space in Sanjay Gupta's Next

Sanjay Gupta’s next gangster drama is set to feature Emraan Hashmi and John Abraham in the lead roles. Shootout at Wadala was the director’s last film in the gangster space which starred John, Anil Kapoor, Kangana Ranaut and Sonu Sood.

According to Mumbai Mirror, the plot will be based on real life events and revolves around incidents like shutting down of mills, nexus between politicians, cops and underworld. The film will be co-produced by Sanjay Gupta’s White Feather Productions and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series.

Vicky Kaushal Heads to Shimla to Shoot Music Video

After showing us a brand new avatar of himself in Bhoot poster, Vicky Kaushal is now headed to Shimla to shoot a romantic single under Bhushan Kumar’s production. Starting next week, the music video will be shot over a period of three days and is sung by B Praak, the voice behind the song ‘Teri Mitti’ from Kesari.

Sources have told Mumbai Mirror that the song is about love and heartbreak and will show Vicky in different avatars. He loved the idea that he’ll be able to showcase different sides of his personality. The actor to be paired opposite him is yet to be finalized.
