50 Years of Bachchan: Abhishek Pens a Heartfelt Note for Big B
Amitabh Bachchan completes 50 years in the film industry.
Amitabh Bachchan’s Saat Hindustani released on 7 November 1969 and he clocks 50 years in Bollywood today. To mark the occasion, son Abhishek Bachchan took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of Big B and wrote a heart-warming post along with it.
“Not just as a son, but as an actor and a fan... We are all blessed to witness greatness! There is so much to admire, to learn and even more to appreciate. Several generations of cinema lovers get to say we lived in the times of BACHCHAN!!! Congratulations Pa on completing 50 years in the Film industry. We now await the next 50! Recently, Big B hosted a grand Diwali bash at his residence, which was attended by many Bollywood stars. He took to his blog to express his gratitude to the fans for their love and wishes on the occasion. “In the decorative walls of our abode JALSA .. जलसा .. all our wishes for a Diwali that shall brighten all your homes with peace , love , fulfilment and prosperity .. may evil be destroyed , may the good flourish , may there be understanding and care for another .. and most of all a smile of genuine affection .. for all .. by all .. my prayers ..,” he wrote in his blog.
