1. First Look: Ayushmann’s Avatar in ‘Gulabo Sitabo’ Revealed

Ayushmann Khurrana and Amitabh Bachchan co-star in Gulabo Sitabo.

The makers of Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana-starrer Gulabo Sitabo have revealed Ayushmann’s look in the film. While not much has been disclosed about his character, the Dream Girl actor seems to be playing a small town everyman, like his previous roles. Directed by Shoojit Sircar and written by Juhi Chaturvedi (Vicky Donor, Piku), Gulabo Sitabo marks Amitabh Bachchan and Ayushmann Khurrana’s first time together on screen.

2. Siddharth Dey Says He Sustained Burn Injuries During ‘Bigg Boss’

Siddharth Dey has claimed he sustained injuries during a task on Bigg Boss.

After being evicted on 29 October, Bigg Boss contestant Siddharth Dey opened up to the media about his time in the house. While speaking to the media, the writer showed the burn marks he allegedly suffered during a task where the other contestants poured chilli powder and bleach. In an interview with Zoom TV, he claimed, “They actually put at least a kilo of bleach on my neck and eyes. They also put at least half a kilo of red chilli powder. I still have burn marks on my skin and I’m not even able to sleep properly. They are celebrities and if they are showing such violent side, they are sending out the wrong message to the youth.”

3. Fire Accident at Bachchan’s Diwali Party, SRK Comes to Rescue

On 27 October, Amitabh Bachchan hosted a grand Diwali party at his residence in Juhu. Unfortunately, the celebratory occasion was dampened because of an accident. During the Diwali bash at Jalsa, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s manager Archana Sadanand’s lehenga caught fire, reported mid-day. Her lehenga came in contact with a diya. Archana was then taken to Nanavati Hospital. According to the report, Shah Rukh Khan, who was attending the party with his wife Gauri, noticed the fire and came to Archana’s rescue. He rushed towards her and tried to put out the fire with the use of his jacket. This incident occurred in the courtyard.

4. Shruti Haasan to Star Opposite Telugu Star Ravi Teja

Shruti Haasan is set to team up with Ravi Teja.

Shruti Haasan had taken a break from acting to concentrate on her music. Recently, she performed a couple of gigs in London. Now, she is back to acting once again. She is gearing up for the release of the Tamil film Laabam. Meanwhile, Shruti has signed another Telugu film. She has been brought on board to play the female lead alongside Ravi Teja. The film has tentatively been titled RT 66. Directed by Gopichand Malineni, the movie is tipped to be a commercial entertainer in which Ravi Teja will essay the role of a police officer.

5. Netflix’s Animated Series ‘Heaven’s Forest’ Inspired by Ramayana

Netflix will be soon coming up with an eight-episode animated action drama series, inspired by the Ramayana epic, titled Heaven’s Forest. The Castlevania team, creator Warren Ellis, executive producers Adi Shankar and Kevin Kolde, will be creating the series, as per reports.

“I am delighted to be partnering again with Netflix, my Castlevania comrades, and the Indian creative community, to create this surreal, mythic narrative filled with life and heart,” Ellis told Deadline.
