As the Kerala floods continue to wreak havoc on the state, more and more prominent personalities are donating to help those in need. Now it has come out that none other than Amitabh Bachchan has made a remarkable contribution towards the Chief Minister's Relief Fund through sound designer Resul Pookutty, who has been coordinating relief efforts.
According to the Hindustan Times, Amitabh has donated a whopping 51 lakh to victims of the floods, along with 6 cartons of his personal clothes. The boxes included around 80 jackets, 25 pairs of pants, 20 shirts, 40 pairs of shoes and scarves.

Akshay Kumar has emerged as the seventh highest-paid actor in the world by earning USD 40.5 million in 2018, according to Forbes magazine.
The Gold actor is closely followed by his contemporary Salman Khan in the ninth place, raking in USD 38.5 million. Kumar and Khan are the only two Bollywood actors to make it to the top 10 highest-paid actors list, compiled by the publication.
