Following the Donald Trump debacle in the three Presidential debates, Hillary Clinton seems to be well on her way to the White House. However, a Clinton Foundation memo, which was unearthed by WikiLeaks in their latest email hack, isn't going to win her any favours in a campaign that has periodically been marred by the Hillary Clinton email controversy.

The memo, written by close Clinton aide Douglas Band, details how he raised money for the Clinton Foundation from top-tier corporations – Dow Chemical and Coca Cola for instance – that were clients of his firm Teneo. The same donors were also pressed into providing personal income to former president Bill Clinton. Paid speaking engagements and consulting contracts also helped line the Clintons’ pockets. According to the Washington Post, Band, in effect, ran 'Bill Clinton Inc', obtaining services for the then First Family: travel, hospitality, vacations and the like.

Clearly, the Clinton Foundation kept the family’s business interests in mind. The Clinton campaign may have chosen not to acknowledge the authenticity of the earlier emails, but this one may be a little harder to brush off: Teneo (the company Band co-founded) has authenticated the memo. Hillary Clinton and her campaign are left with little choice but to speak out.

As far as polling is concerned, however, the last few weeks has unearthed certain trends: support for third party candidates is waning, and Clinton stands to gain the votes that candidates like Gary Johnson and Jill Stein have lost.
