1. CoA Chief Clarifies That Logo on Dhoni’s Gloves Not Army Insignia
MS Dhoni’s decision to wear an Army regiment’s insignia on his wicket-keeping gloves has sparked a massive controversy with the ICC writing to the BCCI to ask the former skipper to remove the logo from his gloves.
However, in the latest development, BCCI’s CoA chief Vinod Rai has said the board has asked the ICC’s permission to let Dhoni continue wearing the same gloves as it is not a military symbol.

2. Aligarh Child Murder: 5 Policemen Suspended, SIT Formed
Five policemen, including an SHO, were suspended for alleged negligence after the mutilated body of a two-and-a-half-year-old girl was found in a garbage dump in Aligarh’s Tappal in Uttar Pradesh.
The policemen were suspended for alleged delay in registering the case after the minor was reported missing, and also for delaying the probe which eventually led to the discovery of her body on 2 June, officials said, as per PTI.

3. Three Student Suicides Rattle TN, Oppn Demands NEET Be Scrapped
Tamil Nadu has a long history of objection to NEET. This year, three student suicides following the test’s result have unnerved the state. Ridhushree from Tirupur, Vaishya from Pattukottai and Monisha from Villupuram killed themselves after failing NEET.
Ridhushree and Vaishya had scored more than 90% in the XII Board Examination, and Monisha had taken a year off to prepare for NEET. When they couldn't make the cut, Vaishya allegedly set herself alight and Ridhushree and Monisha hanged themselves.

A post has gone viral on social media, which claims that in an incident in Bihar’s Kishanganj, tribals attacked Muslims with their bow and arrows after the Muslims forcibly tried to occupy their land for Namaz on Eid. Well, the incident did take place in Bihar’s Kishanganj district on Wednesday, 5 June, however, the facts of the story have been tampered with to change the narrative.
