1. Ranveer-Deepika Wedding Photos Out!

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are finally married! They sealed the deal and got married in a traditional Chitrapur Saraswat-style ceremony on 14 November followed by a Sindhi Anand Karaj ceremony on 15 November. Fans waited with bated breath to get a glimpse of the couple as bride and groom, who were fiercely private about their ceremonies. The wait is finally over.

The duo took to social media to post pictures from both the ceremonies.

2. Vasant Kunj Double Murder: 3 Confess to Killing Fashion Designer

Three men, on Thursday, 15 November, confessed to murdering 53-year-old fashion designer Mala Lakhani and her 50-year-old domestic help, Bahadur, at her residence in Delhi’s Vasant Kunj.

According to ANI, the double murder was committed late Wednesday, 14 November night. One of the accused, Rahul Anwar, was a tailor at the deceased fashion designer's workshop. He, along with his two relatives, allegedly committed the crime in an attempt to loot.

When Madhya Pradesh goes to polls on 28 November 2018, Bharatiya Janata Party’s Shivraj Singh Chouhan will be eyeing a fourth consecutive term as the chief minister. Fighting anti-incumbency against the saffron party, Chouhan is seen campaigning for the party across the length and breadth of the state.

To make the situation even more challenging, the Congress refused to give Chouhan a walkover in his constituency of Budhni and nominated Arun Yadav, a senior Congress leader, from the seat. But Chouhan seems unfazed and instead of taking Yadav head on, his son Kartikeya Chouhan seems to be leading the charge in Budhni.

4. As Chhath Puja Devotees Choke River Yamuna, Residents Suffer

As the Chhath Puja devotees slowly make their way from the ghats after completing their rituals, fishermen and residents living near the ghats sigh at the site of all the waste littered in and around the Yamuna river.

Disposable cups, garlands, polythene bags, you name it. It’s all there in the river, despite the government taking measures – like putting up barricades and do’s and don’ts posters – to prevent pollution. The Quint visited Delhi’s Kalindikunj and Kalyanpuri ghats to check on the river pollution levels and the results were deplorable.

5. Jawa Motorcycles Return, Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 & Continental GT Launched

Jawa Motorcycles is making a comeback in India. The Czech brand that was taken over in 2016 by Mahindra has unveiled its first three motorcycles. The standard Jawa is a classic 300 cc bike priced at Rs 1.64 lakh. The cruiser is called the Forty Two, priced at Rs 1.55 lakh and then there's a bobber that will come a little later called the Jawa Perak, priced at Rs 1.89 lakh.

These bikes are being brought in by a company called Classic Legends, which was formed by Anand Mahindra, Boman Irani (from the original Ideal Jawa family) and investment banker and entrepreneur Anupam Thareja. The company wants to invoke the feeling of nostalgia in its buyers, as it was a popular motorcycle brand in the 1960s and 1970s in India.
