Weightlifter Venkat Rahul Ragala has won a gold medal in men’s 85 kg category.Weightlifter Sathish Kumar Sivalingam has bagged a gold in the men’s 77 kg event.India draw 2-2 with Pakistan in the men’s hockey Pool B match.India finished Day 3 of CWG 2018 with 4 golds, 1 silver and 1 bronze medal.Hussamuddin Mohammed books a spot in the quarter-finals of the men's 56kg category after defeating Vanuatu’s Boe Warawara 5-0.Joshna Chinappa crashes out in the quarter-finals after losing 5-11, 6-11, 9-11 to New Zealand’s Joelle King.India’s Sajan Prakash finishes last with a timing of 1 minute and 59 seconds in the men’s 200m butterfly final.Srihari Nataraj finished with a timing of 26.5 seconds in the men's 50m backstroke semi-final. He books a place in the next phase of the event.Manoj Kumar books a spot in the quarter-finals after defeating Tanzania’s Kassim Mbundwike 5-0.Samoa’s Don Opeloge two failed attempts in the clean and jerk round helps India’s Venkat Rahul Ragala to win the gold medal in the men’s 85 kg category.Venkat Rahul Ragala is inching towards a gold medal with a lift of 187 kg in his second attempt during the clean and jerk round. He’s leading the category with a total of 338 kg.Venkat Rahul Ragala successfully lifts 182 kg in the clean and jerk round. He is currently leading in the event with a total lift of 333 kg.Venkat Rahul Ragala is looking like another medal prospect for India. He lifted a best of 151 kg to finish joint-first in the snatch round. Now on to the clean and jerk round.Samoa’s Don Opeloge also finished with a best lift of 151 kg in the snatch round.Sarita Devi qualifies for the quarter-finals after defeating Barbados’ Kimberly Gittens 5-0 in the 60 kg category.India’s Manjeet Singh finishes 13th in the men’s 15km Scratch Race Qualifying round. Manjeet finished the race before three cyclists who did not finish. The Indian missed a spot in the final by one rank. The top 12 cyclists in each heat qualify for the final.In the dying seconds of the match, Pakistan ask for a video referral. They want to see if an Indian player touched the ball with his leg. To Pakistan’s fortune, the referral goes their way and they get a penalty corner.Pakistan seal the opportunity and find the back of the net, leaving India no chance for a counter attack.CWG 2018: India Concede in Final Seconds, Draw 2-2 With PakistanFirst, Sreejesh blocks out a one on one tackle and then dives to his right to keep out another shot by the Pakistanis. Sreejesh is certainly India’s star of the match.India are hanging on in the Pool B match against hockey. Pakistan made many inroads near India’s goal, but managed to convert only one. India still lead 2-0.Harmanpreet Singh converts a penalty corner for India! Captain Manpreet Singh feeds the ball to Harmanpreet, who strikes the ball right in the middle of the goal. India take a 2-0 lead.Dilpreet Singh has got India on the board!The move was started by SV Sunil who made a solo run from the half-way line and passed it straight to Dilpreet. The 18-year-old, playing his first international match however did not miss. The Pakistani keeper was beaten with ease and India have the lead.Pakistan have clearly come out with a plan. Four minutes into the match and both teams have made their way into the danger-zones. After being assured of a Gold, Sivalingam didn’t take a third attempt. In the snatch category, Sivalingam lifted 144 kg.
