We can’t quite ascertain what the nation wants to know. However, we can say with some amount of conviction, what Tweeple do and do not want to know. And, by the looks of it, it is most certainly not what Arnab Goswami thinks should be done to teach Vijay Mallya a lesson.

Mallya, 61, owes almost Rs 9,000 crore to Indian banks. The extradition hearing of the fugitive liquor baron was heard on 13 June in a London court. When a reporter asked about Mallya’s “billion pounds”, he mockingly told him, ‘’You can keep dreaming about a million pounds... you don’t know the facts”.
In a recent tweet-storm on Tuesday, on Goswami’s news television channel Republic’s official Twitter handle, Tweeple’s disbelief at Goswami’s statements on Vijay Mallya was almost palpable!
Arnab Goswami wants us to cut off ties with the UK to teach Mallya a lesson.
