Remember the video of two female cops moral policing a couple in Kerala that recently went viral? The one where we collectively punched the air in agreement when the couple gave it back to the cops for harassing them without reason?

The latest development in the matter is that the state's police chief himself has made a public apology to the couple on behalf of his department.

The law of the land is very clear. No one has the right to disturb or harass any couple anywhere, more so in public places. In our country we impose self-restraint on Public Display of Affection (PDA) due to our culture and tradition, though there is no legal ban for PDA.
