How did we find out the truth?: We performed a reverse image search on the viral image and found no credible report carrying this image.

• We then checked Kohli's and Sharma's official Instagram accounts and found no such image shared on their timelines.

We also noticed several errors in the image especially around their hands and feet.

Next, we ran the image through AI-detection tools such as Hive Moderation and Sight Engine.

• Both the results concluded that this image is created using AI with a 99 percentage probability.
