UPSC Prelims Result 2018 Released: Here’s How to Check Your Marks

The results of the Civil Services Preliminary Exams is expected to be released soon. 

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) declared the results of the UPSC prelims examination on Saturday. The results are available on the official website of the commission i.e.,

Candidates who have cleared the prelims will be eligible to sit for the main examinations to be held in September this year.

The exam, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), took place on 3 June 2018, across 73 exam centres. Around 3 lakh candidates had appeared for the exams.

The results are usually announced within 45 days from when the exams are first conducted.

How to Check Your UPSC Prelims Results:

For all the candidates who would be checking their results to see if they have qualified, these are the steps to follow:

  • Go to the official website of the UPSC:
  • Click on 'UPSC Civil Services Prelims Result 2018'
  • Fill in all the necessary details and click on 'submit'
  • Download the UPSC Prelims Result 2018
  • Keep a printout of the same

The preliminary exams were conducted in two parts on 3 June, with Paper-I being conducted in the morning and Paper-II being held in the afternoon.
