On Monday, 15 July, the hashtag #SareeTwitter floated on Twitter and by Tuesday it was already a massive hit. The trend documented a series of saree throwbacks and ‘OOTD’s’. Even politicians and actors played along.
Sarees have truly stood the test of time. Having been around for over 5000 years, we can spot them everywhere, be it our grandmothers or leading ladies in Hindi cinema, the saree makes every woman not just look good but also feel good.
