Have you ever come across creepy DMs on your social media account? If your’e a guy, then probably not, but girls go through this every other day. A random guy does message you based on what you post. The lesser your privacy settings, the more you receive these messages and if you are a social media celebrity then your DMs are a lot of creepy stuff because people are trying to start a conversation with you and most of the time it just goes wrong.
We asked comedian-actor-writer Sumukhi Suresh to check her DMs and respond to them in this video.Her DMs are filled with random greetings, unwanted suggestions, filthy comments and pictures that you would regret clicking on.
Although, Sumukhi being Sumukhi, gives it back to each one of them in her style. Not all DMs are supposed to be creepy and that’s what this video also points out. Sumukhi replies to her “good morning”, “I am your fan”, “thanks for liking my video” comments too.
Receiving nude pictures is something every woman active on social media has gone through, and Sumukhi takes these creeps on with her super sassy responses. She replies to them saying that she wants videos instead of pictures - which puts the creep in an awkward position.
Sumukhi will be seen in her new Amazon special, Go Straight Take left, which is a comedy concept sketch performed alongside Naveen Richard. The sketch involves small plays set amidst different settings and storylines. The comedians do a series of skits on the most mundane topics but with their own comedic flavour. A prying coworker who gets easily bored or a person being tortured by a mosquito while sleeping - they take all of it headlong. Stream it only on Amazon Prime Video.
