Zaira Wasim Alleges Molestation on Flight, Twitter Reacts Angrily

Some stand by Zaira Wasim for calling out molestation, others call it a publicity stunt to grab eyeballs.

Dangal actor Zaira Wasim has alleged that she was molested on a Delhi-Mumbai flight. The seventeen-year-old took to Instagram, where she posted pictures and a live video after the flight, talking about her ordeal.

So, I just landed and you know the whole irony of this is that the guy... this is not done at all. This is not the way, this is not (how) a girl should be made to feel because this is terrible. Is this how they are doing to take care of girls? No one will help us if we don’t decide to help ourselves. This is the worst thing.

Mehbooba Mufti, Omar Abdullah Demand Action

The Chief Minister of Jammu & Kashmir Mehbooba Mufti also reacted to the molestation allegations and demanded strict action from relevant authorities.

Former Jammu and Kashmir chief minister Omar Abdullah demanded legal action against the unidentified man accused of molesting Zaira Wasim on board a Delhi-Mumbai flight.

In her Instagram story, Zaira showed and wrote exactly what happened.

Vistara tweeted saying they will take stock of the matter and that the airline has zero tolerance for such attitude.

We @airvistara have seen the reports regarding @ZairaWasimmm experience with another customer on board last night. We are carrying out detailed investigation and will support Zaira in every way required. We have zero tolerance for such behaviour.
