75-year-old Bengaluru Woman Uses Solar Energy To Grill Corn

Selvamma, a 75-YO woman in Bengaluru, has caught everyone’s attention by selling grilled corn using solar energy.

At an age when people retire from their jobs and want to take a break from their hectic life, a 75 year old woman, Selavamma still works hard by selling corn, but 20 years into this job, she is trying a new method to fan the coal.

Setting her hands-free with a portable solar powered fan, she is also promoting the idea of using renewable energy. Social Media was quick to laud her by calling her a tech-savvy Bangalorean and nick-named her “Solaramma”’.
