Twitter has managed to dig up yet another goldmine of creativity from its users. The latest trend that seems to have gripped the micro-blogging website, both around the world and in India, is the increasingly ironic pattern of “Where are you from?”

What started as the #whereareyoufrom hashtag that trended after US President Donald Trump reportedly belittled a Korean-American reporter, has now been flipped on its its head. Tweeple make fun of the ignorance the speaker exhibits in a grossly exaggerated and cathartic punchline.
