Umar Khalid Attack: Vishal Dadlani, Swara Bhasker Voice Support

After being shot at outside Constitution Club near Parliament, messages of support for the JNU student activist.

JNU student leader Umar Khalid escaped unharmed after being shot at by an unknown assailant outside the Constitution Club of India in New Delhi on Monday, 13 August.

Khalid was there to attend a rally called “Towards a Freedom Without Fear” to protest against lynchings and crimes against women.

The incident took place 200 metres away from the Parliament’s wall.
