When the world was talking about the Oscars, how could Bollywood director Karan Johar refrain from commenting? KJo tweeted calling the Oscars ceremony boring, and also criticised the organises for the “mess-up”. Although he deleted this tweet, he put out another one on similar lines.

In no time, Twitterati lashed out at him, dissing his movies as well as Bollywood award shows, including those the filmmaker had hosted himself.

Johar’s tweet also led to attacks on Indian award functions, including those the director had hosted.
