Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey is in India and on Wednesday, 14 November, he met with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan.
The meeting between the Shah Rukh Khan and the Twitter boss took place only after they had an amusing exchange on the social media platform, with Dorsey asking SRK if he’s up and then letting him know that he’s reached ‘Mannat’ (SRK’s residence in Mumbai).
Replying to Dorsey in the affirmative, Shah Rukh Khan also a dig at those spreading “fake news” about his “tardiness”.
A few moments later, the Twitter CEO replied on the same thread, with a photo of ‘Mannat’ and a caption saying, "knock knock", letting Twitter know about his arrival at SRK’s house.
Following their meeting, a photo was shared by Aneesh Madani, Twitter's head of sports partnerships in Asia Pacific, where Dorsey and SRK are seen meditating together.
The meeting happened a day after Dorsey met with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the latter told him that he loves being on Twitter. Dorsey had also tweeted after the meeting, thanking Modi for their “conversation about the importance of global conversation.”
Apart from Modi and SRK, Dorsey has also had meetings with Rahul Gandhi and the Dalai Lama in the national capital.
