Former cricketer, Chetan Chauhan, is now the chairman of the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT), reported The Indian Express.
Chauhan has already held a few meetings at his new office, in which he briefed members on coming up with solutions for the benefit of the Institute.
The chairperson of the Board of Governors (BOG) is expected to be an academician, a professional, nominated by the President of the Institute.
