In a series of tweets, US President Donald Trump on Wednesday announced that he would not allow transgender individuals to serve in the US military in any capacity.
The decision apparently came after he consulted with ‘his’ Generals and the military, with the justification that “the military must be focused on decisive and overwhelming victory and it cannot be burdened with the tremendous medical costs and disruption that transgender in the military would entail.”
This came almost a year after his election campaign, where he made promises to look after the LGBTQ community and their rights.

Twitterati instantly pointed out the insanity of his berserk policy and raised some valid points. Here’s what they had to say:

Caitlyn Jenner wrote an open letter in response to Donald Trump’s tweets on her website. “I believe every American should be outraged by the disrespect shown to those people wearing our country’s uniform,” she wrote.
