Over the years, the Indian palate has been bombarded with all sorts of global delicacies. From noodles to pizzas, we now have endless snacking options available at a click. But it seems all this foren stuff still misses the desi touch.
In the run-up to Junk Food Day today, we thought of finding out which snack rules the hearts in India: the Desi Samosa or the Firangi Burger.
Here are some of the responses we got.
The result of the poll?
Out of 58 respondents, an overwhelming 56 voted for the Samosa.The margin by which the burger has been blitzed makes us confident too that tiny sample-size or no, this potato-filled snack rules your hearts.
Just make sure the samosa doesn’t clog up your arteries.
