The much awaited White House Correspondent’s Dinner (WHCD) was held on Saturday, April 28, in Washington DC. The WHCD is an annual event intended to celebrate the freedom to the press in the US, but in reality, it is just another excuse for journalists and political commentators to roast those in power, and inevitably get roasted themselves.

For this years’ address, the White House Correspondent’s Association invited The Daily Show’s cast member, comedian Michelle Wolf, to perform at the event. In her address, Wolf made sure her jokes hit everyone where it hurts. And boy did she do a good job!
