A Delhi court has issued an interim injunction on the publication on a book written by Priyanka Pathak-Narain on Baba Ramdev. The book titled Godman to Tycoon: The Untold Story of Baba Ramdev delves into the life of the godman, narrated through a series of interviews conducted by the author.
According to a statement issued by the publishing house Juggernaut Books, the Kakardooma District Court restrained the publishers from 'publication and sale of the book’. The order was reportedly passed on 4 August.
Several personalities cutting across lines, including Ramachandra Guha and Shashi Tharoor, criticised the Delhi Court’s order, while declaring their support to the publisher.
